Parabolic leaf springs

Victoria ran on its original leaf springs during 59 years !
Far to be worn out, the steel was still strong and not rusty. The quality of the steel used for leaf spring is one of the best you can find…
During the restoration, it was nevertheless decided to take a bit of height. Less original looking, but surely purposeful looking. The parabolic springs used (British Springs) are supposed to offer a comfier ride but so far, it was not the case. The new springs need a lot of time to bed in and soften. As for now, the parabolics are much stiffer than the old heavy duty springs !
Axles and differentials are original items from 1963.
